I just attended the best passion of the Christ play. As they were “nailing” Jesus to the cross the entire thing broke. No one knew what to do and it got quiet. Finally one of the guards on stage said “You get out of it this time Jesus”

Reblog if you recognize this game. I want to find ALL OF YOU.
I have the disc for cats 3 not 3 feet away from my face at this moment.
I probably still have the discs, but I can’t run them anymore because OSX is a butt.
I spent forever playing Cats. The Scardy Cat was my favorite, next to the Russian Blue.
I played this game to death.
I think my obsession with it finally convinced my mom to let me get a cat.
Oh hell yes. I got really into the hack that let you download and adopt mutant pets, like foxes and chickens and tribbles. I tried to code some of my own and ended up with this fascinating lump of cojoined spheres that would whiz wildly around the little virtual room and knock everything around. Then my dad’s computer would crash. That was kind of the end of my hacking adventures.
the moment i looked at that image i just flashedbacked to when I would paint them and then squirt them with the water bottle and then throw them across the room by mistake cuz my mouse was spazzy

Weekend Read: Comic book writer and novelist Greg Rucka (Stumptown, Queen and Country) answers a frequently asked question in an incisive essay for io9 entitled “Why I Write ‘Strong Female Characters’”.
The entire piece is well worth a read, but here’s the key passage:
Writers don’t write Men or Women or Dogs or Salmon. Writers write characters, and at our best, if we do it well and with care and with thought, we invest in those characters a spark of life, a realism and nuance that makes them believable and relatable.
Rucka also questions why journalists don’t tend to ask female writers how they write “strong female characters,” and why more male writers don’t do the research about their female characters, the way they would with any other character whose experience differs from their own.
